A straightforward, rather plain coffee. Most complex in the sweet, gently pungent aroma: raisin, cedar, dark chocolate. Sweet-toned but subdued acidity; slightly lean mouthfeel. The attractive aromatics persist but simplify in the cup and finish.

This medium-roast blend is carefully crafted from three Latin American coffees selected for their balance and brightness. The result is smooth and balanced flavor with a hint of toffee sweetness and a crisp clean finish.

A K-Cup is is coffee or tea (and recently hot chocolate and cappuccino) that is sealed in some kind of cartridge, generally a plastic cup. The cartridge has a plastic ring covered with a foil top. The inside of the capsule is lined with a filter material and keeps the coffee contained while brewing.

The range is about 60-90 mg per capsule.

Farmers harvest beans from the areas of Cibao and Barahona, as well as other regions like Neyba, Sierra Sur, and Noroeste, Cafe Santo Domingo produces blends that are full-bodied, well-balanced, and full of flavor. Moreover, most of their coffees have notes of nuttiness, as well as hints of chocolate and berries.

Dominican Republic coffee beans are mainly Arabica beans. They're famous for their delicate flavors and natural sweetness. Approximately seventy percent of coffee beans produced worldwide are Arabica beans, so it's no surprise that the Dominican Republic exports Arabica beans.

K-Cups are approximately 1 ½ inches in height, 2 inches in diameter across the top, and 1 ½ inches in diameter across the bottom. The cups themselves were first, and some may still be, made of polystyrene, a #7 plastic that is safe for food (see Things to Note).

Keurig After conducting countless taste tests, the initial design nirvana was achieved. They named their brewing system and their company “Keurig”, a word derived from the Dutch word for excellence, and designated each single serve coffee capsule as a “K-Cup® pod.”
