Looking at BK's website and pulling up their sandwich ingredients you find a plain hamburger includes a sesame bun, beef patty, mustard, ketchup, and pickles at 270 calories. A Whopper Jr adds mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, and onion and another 40 calories for a total of 310.

Considering these nutritional factors, it's clear that the Whopper is not a particularly healthy burger. It is high in calories, saturated fat, and sodium while providing limited beneficial nutrients.
