Katniss and Haymitch Return Home to District 12 With a sweet goodbye from Effie, who receives a steamy kiss from Haymitch, they take their leave. Back in 12, Katniss returns to her home in Victor's Village, as does Haymitch. Katniss sits in sadness, lost after Prim's death.
