I wasn't sure I liked this (more on that later), but I've grown to love the secure feel these shoes provide; and given the nature of the weave, they're extremely breathable. The midsole is made up of the famous boost energy foam with a “torsion system” through the midfoot.

The Adidas Ultraboost Light is a firm-riding, cushioned trainer which has smooth transitions and very good stability. It's better suited to moderately-paced runs rather than easy runs due to its firm ride but its weight and upper prevent it from being a proper performance daily trainer.

Ultra Boost provides more energy return and a better fit, making it the preferred choice over Pure Boost. The Pure Boost is a great running shoe with good grip and support, while the Ultra Boost has a slightly more modern appearance but can be uncomfortable for some people.

But if you prefer a firmer shoe–maybe you're used to running in Under Armour or Reebok kicks–the Ultraboost could work well for you. Better yet, the very firm Boost cushioning is well-suited to low-impact activities like walking, where you aren't moving as fast and putting as much stress on your feet and joints.
