The Pioneer CDJ-2000 was introduced into the CDJ-range of digital turntables targeted for professional DJs simultaneously with the CDJ-900 on September 17, 2009. It became available late December 2009. The Pioneer CDJ-2000 was the replacement for the Pioneer CDJ-1000 MK3.

Coming from a controller 2000s are more challenging, but will probably make you a better DJ if you learn how to use them. Club standard is 2000NXS2.
