Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust takes about five hours to complete on the normal difficulty setting - if even that long. Frey follows a mysterious voice back in time and finds herself in the place of Thalia, a member of Olas' personal guard trapped in the capital city of Visoria during the Reddig invasion.

Combat is where Forspoken shines through. Frey has two types of magic attack and support. There are also multiple types for each one that can be earned and upgraded throughout the game. These are assigned to each set of triggers and can be combined for some truly interesting encounters.

I'm one of the handful of people who actually enjoyed Forspoken. Despite its flaws (and yeah, my glowing review aside, it is a flawed game) I saw a solid story with interesting characters and a unique combat and traversal system that was genuinely fun to play.

Forspoken is split up into thirteen different story chapters, although the length of these chapters can vary wildly. Story focused-chapters can be over in 30 minutes, while chapters that dump you into the open world can take hours upon hours.

Frey must have read those Forspoken reviews… It may sound silly, but the title of this game means, “To attract and fascinate, enchant” which is the developers' intention with magical abilities, intense parkour, and an expansive world.

DLC, or downloadable content, refers to additional content gamers download for video games after their initial release. This content may include new levels, characters, weapons, or skins.

The final battle of Forspoken takes place in Cipal overrun by Susurrus' corrupted forces while its citizens take refuge. Fortunately, Frey won't be completely alone in this fight, and she will also awaken to her true power including a new useful ability.
