What is HTC One X?

The HTC One X was a flagship smartphone launched by HTC in April 2012. It had a 4.7-inch Super IPS LCD2 display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The phone was powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and had 1GB of RAM. It ran on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system with HTC Sense 4.0 customizations.

The One X had an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, capable of recording 1080p HD videos. It also had a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls. The phone came with 32GB of non-expandable internal storage.

The HTC One X had a sleek and stylish design with a polycarbonate unibody shell that came in two colors- white and gray. It had a curved back with a matte finish that made it comfortable to hold. The phone had a micro-SIM tray and came with a 3.5mm headphone jack, microUSB port, and a micro HDMI port.

In terms of connectivity, the HTC One X supported 4G LTE, 3G HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. It also had NFC capabilities for easy pairing with other NFC-enabled devices.

Overall, the HTC One X was a well-received smartphone that offered powerful performance, a great camera, and a stylish design. However, its lack of expandable storage and non-removable battery were a drawback for some users. Despite this, it was still a popular choice for many smartphone users in 2012.

The Bottom Line In many respects, the HTC One X is among the best smartphones we've ever seen. Sleekly designed, and with zippy performance, the One X is a first-class phone, though it may still disappoint heavy users.

HTC told DigiTimes at MWC 2022 this week that it plans to launch a new high-end smartphone in April of this year. The company's last flagship smartphone was the Exodus 1 from December 2018, which advertised as a phone for cryptocurrency enthusiasts, with the ability to maintain a local crypto wallet.

HTC One is a series of Android and Windows Phone smartphones designed and manufactured by HTC.

While HTC may not have a strong presence in the international market anymore, the company is still making phones and it's next device is a mid-ranger running Android 10.

There are multiple reasons why HTC failed. They failed to evolve. Like blackberry, they didn't engage with what the market wanted, they were more focused on making their phone's UI look professional use, using their own software on top of Android and priced very premium. They failed to specialize at anything.

HTC Corporation (Chinese: 宏達國際電子股份有限公司; pinyin: Hóngdá Guójì Diànzǐ Gǔfèn Yǒuxiàn Gōngsī), or High Tech Computer Corporation (abbreviated and trading as HTC), is a Taiwanese consumer electronics company headquartered in Xindian District, New Taipei City, Taiwan.

Samsung is always way ahead in technology and due to that they have more features then any phone could have expect Apple (these two are great rivals when it comes to technology). HTC might make phone that has great design, but that's not all there is to a phone. Samsung also makes great looking phones.

Initially a manufacturer of notebook computers, HTC began designing some of the world's first touch and wireless hand-held devices in 1998. HTC started making Windows Mobile PDAs and smartphones starting from 2004 under the Qtek brand. In 2006 the range was rebranded as HTC with the launch of the HTC TyTN.

HTC has just announced a Windows Phone version of its flagship smartphone, the One. It's a Verizon exclusive, and costs $100 on a two-year contract. HTC has just announced a Windows Phone version of its flagship smartphone, the One.

HTC is the original design manufacturer for many Android and Windows Phone-based smartphones and PDAs. Brands that market or previously marketed HTC-manufactured products include Dell, Fujitsu Siemens, HP/Compaq, i-mate, Krome, O2, Palm, Sharp Corporation, and UTStarcom.

Chinese manufacturers such as Huawei and Xiaomi were gaining speed fast, gradually moving towards high-end devices and taking large chunks of market shares from the weaker competitors on the way. HTC, being weakened by the poor results over the last few years, was the easiest prey, and there was no mercy.
