Canada Dry is a brand of soft drinks founded in 1904 and owned since 2008 by the American company Dr Pepper Snapple (now Keurig Dr Pepper). For over 100 years, Canada Dry has been known mainly for its ginger ale, though the company also manufactures a number of other soft drinks and mixers.

Canada Dry Ginger Ale Ten was a diet variant of the original Canada Dry Ginger Ale. The name derives from the fact the the drink only has ten calories. The flavor was originally released in 2011, and was discontinued in 2018.

It is popularly reported that, following a trip to Europe, McLaughlin wanted to create a ginger ale formula with an effervescence and lightness that resembled champagne. The result, introduced in 1904, was a lighter, less sugary beverage initially marketed as McLaughlin's “Canada Dry” Pale Ginger Ale.
