BMW iX now with manual pre-conditioning for the high-voltage battery. All model variants of the purely electric BMW iX will be equipped with a further developed version of the predictive heat management technology for the high-voltage battery from March 2023.

The BMW iX is built on a bespoke electric drivetrain architecture and an aluminum spaceframe with carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) side frame, rain channels, roof frame and rear window aperture. The electric platform is a "totally new development", though it is "highly compatible" with the modular CLAR platform.

The new charging technology on the BMW iX allows DC rapid charging with an output of up to 200 kW. This allows the battery to be charged from 10 to 80 percent of its total capacity in under 40 minutes. Behind the powerful appearance of the BMW iX lies a lot of high tech. One symbol of this is the new BMW grille.

With an anticipated BMW iX release date in June 2022 for the U.S. market, the 2023 BMW iX M60 is the brand's first high-performance SAV designed for purely electric mobility.

Successful i4 lineup expands with the all-wheel drive, 396-horsepower i4 xDrive40. The 7 Series adds new electrified models: 750e xDrive PHEV and i7 eDrive50. The 6-cylinder 740i will be available with xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive.

Electric vehicles and the upper premium segment will be the main growth drivers in 2023. The BMW Group also expects to see profitable growth for the 2023 financial year. In a persistently challenging business environment, the company is anticipating a very dynamic increase in sales of electric vehicles.

The new BMW X5 offers just as much luxury as the BMW iX with its own unique and modern layout that seats five comfortably. The BMW X5 is slightly smaller but offers plenty more model options, including a plug-in hybrid and performance SAV.

X5 The Bimmer SUV is about the same size as the company's mid-size X5 and X6 crossovers, and its passenger and cargo space is similar to those models as well.

The iX Flow builds on that vehicle with an E Ink exterior, allowing the car to change color from black to white with just the press of a button. Being E Ink, it also consumes minimal power, only using power when changing colors.
