Worth it. This was a massively underrated movie. It's an amazingly paced shoot-em-up that never gets boring. Affleck, JK Simmons, Bernthal, Kendrick, Tambor... you can't even ask for a better cast and they ALL deliver.
Through viewing The Accountant, it does seem to rely on the emotionless stereotype about autistics, and it cannot be further from the truth. Autistic people actually tend to be overly emotional. They are often unable to respond because there is too much emotional stimulation.
Over all the film is believable even to those that know autism from inside. The idea was that an autistic child with great genetics and maximum training and self discipline could become very powerful although this is far from reality for most of us.

I really appreciate the way the film shows that autism played a large part in Christian's personal life and occupation, as it has in mine! From a young age, Christian felt when he started something that he HAD to finish it and if he wouldn't or couldn't, he would have a meltdown.
