The TV series is loosely based on a true story. In 2001, a large quantity of cocaine was found in Rabo de Peixe after the 14-meter-long sailboat Sun Kiss 47 sank off the Azorean coast in June, carrying 505.84 kilograms of cocaine with a purity of more than 80%, worth over 150 million euros at 2023's prices.

Charles F. Stanley was the senior pastor of First Baptist Church Atlanta for more than fifty years. Basically, there are two paths you can walk: faith or fear. It's impossible to simultaneously trust God and not trust God.
