Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge is an action-adventure virtual reality experience from ILMxLAB that lets you travel across the galaxy to the planet of Batuu and live out your own unforgettable story.

The graphic fidelity is nice and the shooting works great. The voice acting and npc animations are really really awesome. There's a neat little tool you use that swaps between 3 functions to unlock and repair objects, and a jetpack that lets you hover (and later you can move around with it).

planet Batuu Star Wars:Galaxy's Edge is a new immersive 14 acre land that is based on the remote settlement called Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu.

By completing his special missions, you'll be fully transported to other eras and even planets in the galaxy: become a Jedi in the “Temple of Darkness”; train with your padawan in “The Sacred Garden”; or even take on a bounty as assassin droid IG-88 in “The Bounty of Boggs Triff”.

While it's slightly dogged by a few monotonous quests and some slow-burn character development, once it gets moving and throws you into punchy blaster battles it recreates that signature Star Wars atmosphere in detail so vivid that most of the 10 hours you'll spend inside your headset are a great time.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opened May 31, 2019, at Disneyland Park in California and Aug. 29, 2019, at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida. To operate the land, 1,700 new jobs were created for Disney's Hollywood Studios.
