This is the best Mosasaur toy i have ever seen, and one of the coolest creatures to ever grace the Jurassic toys. But disclaimer it is NOT intended for water use. This toy is big and to scale of what a typical Mosasaur would grow in comparison to the rest of the Mattel line.

As others have said, everything above the root is real. Mosasaur teeth are quite common as they were the dominant predators of the seas for over a hundred million years and each animal could shed up to a thousand teeth in its lifespan. But the root is fake.
