The Mastercard "Priceless" campaign is a marketing and advertising campaign launched by Mastercard, a global financial services company, in 1997. The campaign was created by the advertising agency McCann Erickson and was designed to promote the use of Mastercard as a payment option for consumers.

“There are some things money can't buy. For everything else there's Mastercard.” Mastercard's famous slogan, launched in 1997, immediately caught the public's imagination.

The Wall Street Journal reported last week that Visa and Mastercard are planning to increase the fees they charge merchants every time a customer pays with a credit card. If it goes through, the increase could end up costing merchants an additional $500 million annually.

Thus, the 'Priceless' campaign was born. The mission of the campaign was to grow brand awareness and gross dollar volume in each market MasterCard was present.
