Austin, Texas The Texas Grand Prix, known as the EchoPark Grand Prix, for sponsorship reasons, is a NASCAR Cup Series stock car race at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.

Echo Park is a neighborhood in the east-central region of Los Angeles, California. Located to the northwest of Downtown, it is bordered by Silver Lake to the west and Chinatown to the east.

Circuit of the Americas is a 3.4 mile road course. The scheduled distance of 231 miles will take 68 laps to complete.

Echo Park Lake was originally a reservoir for drinking water. The surrounding park was first landscaped in 1892, and by the 1920s a construction flurry had brought new homes and community centers to its surrounding streets. The area was a bastion for artists and communists in the years leading up to World War II.

The culturally diverse neighborhood has become known for its trendy local businesses, as well as its popularity with artists, musicians and creatives. The neighborhood is centered on the eponymous Echo Park Lake.
