Since 1989, the team has played its home matches at Cliff Keen Arena located on Hoover Street in the school's athletic campus between the Administration Building and the Intramural Building. The facility has a seating capacity of 1,800 and is also used by Michigan's men's gymnatics and wrestling teams.

The Michigan Wolverines comprise 29 varsity sports teams at the University of Michigan. These teams compete in the NCAA's Division I and in the Big Ten Conference in all sports except women's water polo, which competes in the NCAA inter-divisional Collegiate Water Polo Association.

The middle blocker (MH), aka middle hitter, is responsible for blocking shots at the net and attacking the ball in the front row. They also play defense in the back row. This player is often the tallest on the team and must block and jump high to facilitate his or her team's defensive system.

This year alone there are 193 Michigan Men's Volleyball athletes actively making use of the NCSA network, technology and scouting professionals to get their highlights in front of 15 coaches at 8 college Men's Volleyball programs across The Great Lakes State - and many more across the country.

Also, Michigan State students receive free admission to all other home Spartan athletic events: women's basketball, volleyball, men's and women's soccer, baseball, softball, field hockey, wrestling, gymnastics, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's golf, track and field and cross country.

Moll's list of the Public Ivies consisted of 15 schools, including William & Mary, UC Berkeley, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the University of Michigan, UCLA, and the University of Virginia. Moll also named nine runners-up, which, to him, offered near-Ivy-level education but weren't quite as strong.
