You should only spray Nasacort (triamcinolone acetonide) into your nostrils one time each day. The medication should help relieve your allergy symptoms for up to 24 hours. Spraying Nasacort (triamcinolone acetonide) more than once a day can put you at higher risk for side effects such as sore throat and nosebleeds.

Experts say that over-the-counter (OTC) anti-inflammatory nasal sprays - such as FLONASE nasal sprays or Nasacort® 24 Hour - are the most effective form of nasal allergy symptom relief.

Dosing information Nasal aerosol: 2 actuations in each nostril once a day; may increase after 4 to 7 days up to 4 actuations in each nostril once a day, or 2 actuations in each nostril twice daily, or 1 actuation in each nostril 4 times a day.
