SportsEngine History SportsEngine sprang to life in 2004 out of a dorm room at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Our founders, Carson and Justin, wanted to combine their love of athletics with their experience in business and design.

SportsEngine is the leading provider of enterprise software and mobile apps used by youth sports teams nationwide. The Minneapolis-based company is owned by NBC Sports. But it was founded in a dorm room by Justin Kaufenberg, Carson Kipfer and Greg Blasko.

Creating Team Pages

1. Sign in to your website and turn on Edit Mode.
2. Go to your League or Club page.
3. Under Edit Mode, click Pages.
4. Select Sub Pages.
5. Click Add New Page.
6. Choose Team Page.
7. Either choose to Select an existing team or Create a new team.

1998 In 1998, the International Sports Engineering Association (ISEA) was established and the journal “Sports Engineering” was published. In 1999, the first international sports engineering conference was organized by Steve Haake called “The International Conference on the Engineering of Sports” in Sheffield, England.

Create a team

1. Select Join or create a team.
2. Select Create team to create a new team.
3. Give the team a name and add a short description if you like.
4. By default, your team is Private, meaning you'll have to add the people or groups you want on the team.
5. Add members.
