Instead the movie focuses on the relationship between Kirk, Spock and Khan. The movie will entertain and satisfy its target audience, and Star Trek fans won't be disappointed. But the movie is best suited to children over 15 years because of its violence, scary scenes and coarse language.

"Star Trek into Darkness" is a great sci-fi with a good story of Kirk and his crew and a powerful villain. The good acting and direction associated to top-notch special effects make a highly entertaining movie.

One of the most notable Star Trek gadgets that influenced real-life technology is the communicator. The name speaks for itself - the Starfleet members use their communicators to communicate with each other, usually on missions outside the ship but sometimes inside the ship as well, depending on the circumstances.

It teaches us to think critically and to consider the consequences of our choices. Spock says in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, "The good of the many outweighs the good of the few, or the one." This principle reminds us that stakeholder interests are important.

Dark is Dark Not for viewers under the age 18. It is rated MA, so yes the audience should be mature, ie. have some serious life experience, before digesting this Dark series.
