Gold cuts the wait time by 50% while Platinum cuts the wait time by 90%. That extra 40% is only really noticeable if the standby queue lines are over an hour, so sometimes it makes a difference and sometimes it doesn't. Unless the park is really packed, it's sort of diminishing returns to go from Gold to Platinum.

The Extreme and Ultimate passes offer no blockout dates and unlimited access to all Six Flags outdoor theme parks, as well as in-park discounts and a Flexible Pay option. The lowest priced Thrill Seeker pass is valid only at its home park on all but a handful of blockout dates, but does include free standard parking.

Locate the Flash Pass entrance. Each attraction offers a separate entrance for Flash Pass users. The entrance will either lead to a different line, or allow you to cut the regular line. The different levels of flash pass will save you time depending which one you get. Example say you get the platinum pass and the line for a ride is 60 minutes, you will reserve that ride and in 6 minutes you will be able to go to the flash pass lane and ride the ride faster than waiting in the regular line.

FastPass+ is a digital ticketing system that allows every ticket holder the opportunity to “skip-the-line” on three select attractions at one park per day. All forms of admission include the same amount of FastPasses, and they are completely free.

If you are after the big 3 roller coasters you must get the fast pass plus. The fast pass is well worth the money for everything else. Wouldn't do it again without the fast pass plus because you can make the most of your day. The best rides, lots of hand sanitizer and cleaning per cautions in place.
