Marston designed Wonder Woman to be an allegory for the ideal love leader; the kind of woman who he believed should run society. "Frankly, Wonder Woman is psychological propaganda for the new type of woman who, I believe, should rule the world", Marston wrote.

WW84 is entertaining, but unfortunately not as good as other DC films (or generally films of the superhero genre). Storyline: Set in 1984, Wonder Woman tries to save the world once again from an unlikely enemy while she still seems to be thinking about Chris Pine.

Wonder Woman 1984 is a really good movie with positive role models, but beware because it has some scenes you might not want your child to watch, like (spoiler alert) when Wonder Woman and shirtless Steve are in a bed kissing on top of one another, there are some bloody scenes but its nothing a child can't handle.

The MPAA rating has been assigned for “sequences of action and violence.” The Kids-In-Mind.com evaluation includes an implied sex scene, a couple of flirting and kissing scenes, a couple of scenes of harassment and near assault, many scenes of women wearing cleavage-revealing outfits, a woman being nearly assaulted in ...

Wonder Woman challenges Mulvey's theory as she is the leading role within the film, therefore is not just inserted into the film to support the male role, she is in fact replacing the male's role as she is representing a hero. A female hero that could be a source of female empowerment.

In writer Brian Azzarello and artist Cliff Chiang's New 52 run, Wonder Woman's origin is changed: Diana learns she was never made out of clay, and - like what the movie implies with Ares - the clay story was used as a cover by Wonder Woman's mother to hide that she and Zeus had had a relationship.

Wonder Woman's viewpoints and characteristics reflect those of her creator, William Moulton Marston, who was a strong supporter of feminist ideals and female empowerment: "(She) encourages women to stand up for themselves, to learn to fight, and be strong, so they don't have to be scared, or depend on men".

Wonder Woman is a powerful leader and warrior. Her strength, speed, near invulnerability to physical harm, and equipment (particularly her golden lasso) make her a strong character.

And instead decides to cram. So much stuff into the story at once and on top of that it makes several changes to what it has already established in the first.
