WWE action figures are poseable action figures based on wrestlers and personalities of WWE. They are currently manufactured by Mattel and have formerly been manufactured by Jakks and Hasbro.

1: LJN created the first WWE action figure in 1984. Despite being made of PVC and having a small number of moving parts, the figurines were an instant hit with collectors.

Each WWE® action figure is approximately 6 in tall and at authentic "Superstar Scale." Recreate favorite matches from WWE® programming or create new rivalries. The figure features 10 points of articulation to play out signature moves and poses.

History. In late 2009, Mattel signed a deal to make WWE toys starting in 2010. The deal has proven to be successful for WWE, garnering nearly $52 million in toy and related merchandise sales in 2010, compared to $44.7 million the previous year.

Ruth and Elliot Handler joined with Harold “Matt” Matson to form Mattel Creations in 1945. The Mattel name was a combination of Harold's nickname Matt and part of Elliot's name.

An action figure is a poseable character model figure made most commonly of plastic, and often based upon characters from a film, comic book, military, video game or television program; fictional or historical. These figures are usually marketed toward boys and adult collectors.

All painted parts are assembled into complete action figures. This involves 'popping' parts together, adding plastic rivets or metal screws, and in some cases, gluing or sonic welding parts together. Each action figure is finished and assembled by hand.
