A shower tower (also known as a shower column) is a high-performance luxury shower that features a shower head, shower valve, controls, pipework, and occasionally additional shower outlets all encased in a tall uniform box.

The model number is on all packaging, some faucets, and all installation instructions provided with your faucet. On the packaging, look near the UPC code or the top of the box. On the faucet, a model identification tag has been attached to most models manufactured since 2012.

Shower faucets will show the Series embossed on the escutcheon plate below the handle. For example, 1300/1400 Series. The Series is typically good enough to identify the cartridge.

Although Delta valves are Universal, there is some confusion as they do offer several model numbers on their website. Typically the valve you want will be R10000-UNBX or R10000-UNWS. These are the most commonly used and work for 99% of people.

Whether the drain grate comes in a chrome, brushed or polished finish, you should clean it regularly to retain its look. In case the grate cover is made of stainless steel, you should remove it from the base. You can then wash it with warm water and wipe it with a cloth.
