What is Pokemon XY?

Pokemon X and Y are the sixth generation of Pokemon games released by Nintendo for their handheld console, the Nintendo 3DS. These games follow the same basic formula as previous entries in the series, with the player taking on the role of a young trainer on a quest to collect and train Pokemon, battle other trainers, and ultimately become a Pokemon champion.

One of the most significant changes in Pokemon X and Y is the introduction of 3D graphics, which allow players to explore the world and battle Pokemon in a fully-realized three-dimensional space. The games also feature a new region to explore, the Kalos region, inspired by France, which features a variety of different environments, such as forests, cities, and coastal areas.

Another major aspect of Pokemon X and Y is the addition of new Pokemon. This generation introduced 72 new Pokemon species, bringing the total number of Pokemon up to 721. Among the new Pokemon added in this generation are fan favorites like Greninja, Talonflame, and Aegislash.

Gameplay-wise, Pokemon X and Y added several new features to the series, such as Mega Evolution, which allows certain Pokemon to temporarily evolve into even more powerful forms during battles. The games also introduced the Player Search System (PSS), which allows players to connect with others via the internet and participate in battles and trades.

Overall, Pokemon X and Y proved to be a significant addition to the Pokemon series, bringing with it new features, Pokemon, and gameplay enhancements that have since become staples of the franchise. With its 3D graphics and expanded online capabilities, these games helped to bring the world of Pokemon to a whole new generation of fans.

I see many hating on Pokemon X/Y simply for being easy (like every Pokemon game) and having a bad story (like every Pokemon game). People also blame it for having a weak post-game, but the post-game's not any shorter than any other first game of a generation.

A quick way to test if your Pokémon card is real or fake is to take a close look at the edge of it. Real Pokémon cards have a very thin sheet of black between the cardboard. It's very thin, but up close it is easy to see the darkness between the two thin halves of the card. Fake cards do not have this.

The Gold Star Pokémon cards are one of the most valuable Pokémon sets ever produced, with Espeon and Umbreon two of the rarest cards in the set. Gold Star Pokémon cards are among the most valuable sets of Pokémon cards in existence and command an incredibly high value as a result.
