Team Double Decker Taco A unique menu item that fused various textures and Taco Bell flavors, the hybrid taco is made up of a soft flour tortilla layered with beans, then wrapped around a traditional crunchy taco shell filled with seasoned beef, crispy lettuce and cheddar cheese.

Taco Bell removed eight items from its menu, including the Chicken Loaded Griller, Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos, the Double Tostada, and the Double Decker Taco. The brand framed these changes as a way of "making ordering easier" for customers.

The Beefy Crunch Burrito will be available as soon as next week. Taco Bell is making summer 2023 one to remember. The Mexican-inspired fast-food chain announced on July 24 that the Beefy Crunch Burrito is officially returning to menus nationwide beginning next week.

September 12, 2019 The Double Decker Taco joined the regular menu items in June 2006. A cheesy version, which featured nacho cheese sauce in addition to the refried beans in between the tortilla and the taco shell, was briefly introduced in 2011. On September 12, 2019, Taco Bell removed the Double Decker Taco from their menu.
