What is Subway Flatizza?

Subway Flatizza is a unique and delicious addition to Subway's range of food offerings. It is a flatbread pizza that is made fresh and served hot, with a choice of toppings to suit your taste.

The Subway Flatizza is a 6-inch pizza that is made on a flatbread crust, which is baked to perfection in Subway's ovens. It is then topped with a generous amount of Subway's signature tomato sauce, a blend of mozzarella and cheddar cheese, and a variety of toppings.

Customers can choose from a range of toppings, including pepperoni, chicken, bacon, ham, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, and more. The Flatizza is then baked in just a few minutes and served hot and fresh.

What makes the Subway Flatizza unique is its size and convenience. It is a perfect choice for customers who are looking for a quick, filling meal on-the-go. The Flatizza is also a great option for sharing with friends or family.

So, whether you are in the mood for a classic pepperoni or a veggie delight with lots of toppings, the Subway Flatizza has got you covered. It is the perfect combination of taste, convenience, and value that Subway fans have come to love and expect.

Frequently Asked Questions about subway flatizza

The fast food restaurant introduced Flatizzas, a combination pizza and flatbread with assorted toppings, in 2014. However, the new menu item vanished almost as quickly as it appeared, leaving pizza-loving Subway customers scratching their heads.

Still, in 2014, Subway launched the Flatizza: a mini flatbread pizza, available in pepperoni, veggie, spicy Italian, and plain cheese varieties. The pies initially cost two for $5, but eventually increased to $3.50 each.

Our Subway Flatizzas were introduced in most Subway markets, but they are no longer on our national menu. The vast majority of our Subway customers continued to choose our delicious subs and salads, rather than Flatizza. We truly appreciate you as a Subway customer and hope you will continue to enjoy our food.

For the most part, these were pretty good. My "sandwich artist" didn't skimp on the toppings and I got more meat and veggies (on each respective Flatizza) than I'd get at a big pizza chain. The sauce was mostly tomato-y without being overly sweet or herby.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°.
  2. Cut the flatbread in half and use just one of the halves.
  3. Spread the tomato sauce on top of the flatbread half.
  4. Sprinkle the basil, oregano, and garlic powder, (optional).
  5. Sprinkle the green pepper slices, red onion slices, and olives.

CRUST: Enriched flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), water, bread crumbs (bleached wheat flour, yeast, sugar, salt), soybean oil, sugar, yeast, salt, non-fat dry milk, garlic. MOZZARELLA CHEESE: Pasteurized milk, cheese cultures, salt, enzymes.

The History of Flatbread Pizza The flatbread pizza as we know it today first appeared in Naples in the 18th century. After tomatoes arrived in Europe via the New world, poor people would top their flatbreads with tomato sauce (which they called "salsa"), cheese, anchovies, and other inexpensive toppings.

Flatbreads with toppings were consumed by the ancient Egyptians, Romans and Greeks. (The latter ate a version with herbs and oil, similar to today's focaccia.) But the modern birthplace of pizza is southwestern Italy's Campania region, home to the city of Naples.

Subway has recently gotten rid of their white flatbread.

Subway also sells breakfast sandwiches, English muffins, and flatbread. In 2006, "personal pizzas" debuted in some US markets.

Today, the SUBWAY brand is the world's largest submarine sandwich chain with more than 44,000 locations around the world. We've become the leading choice for people seeking quick, nutritious meals that the whole family can enjoy. From the beginning, Fred has had a clear vision for the future of the SUBWAY brand.

How'd Subway get so popular? It may be because Subway is one of the least expensive restaurants to franchise, according to Business Insider. Or maybe it's just that crazy-delicious aroma of baking bread. Or the 38 million possible ingredient combinations from which to choose.
