HTC told DigiTimes at MWC 2022 this week that it plans to launch a new high-end smartphone in April of this year. The company's last flagship smartphone was the Exodus 1 from December 2018, which advertised as a phone for cryptocurrency enthusiasts, with the ability to maintain a local crypto wallet.

HTC One is a series of Android and Windows Phone smartphones designed and manufactured by HTC.

The HTC One M8 is one of the best Android smartphones out at the moment. It is fast, slick and powerful, but still has great battery life. Its screen is one of the best ever fitted to a smartphone, while its all-metal build is unrivalled in the industry as are the BoomSound speakers.

HTC One M8: Benchmarks There are other optimisations, but it's not a massive upgrade. There's a slightly more pronounced improvement in the 3DMark gaming benchmark. It scores 20,556, which is around 15 per cent better than some of the Snapdragon 800 devices we've tested.
