The third installment in the series, now MXGP3 and dropping "The Official Videogame" from its title, was released on 12 May 2017 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It was released in November 2017 for Nintendo Switch.

The custom rider will have ten different two-stroke bike models available for all the MXGP 3 game modes. These kinds of bikes have been designed with a devoted physics and audio.

Suzuki will continue to produce RM-Z250 and 450 series and support those customers the entire world.

While a 2-stroke will never offer the torque of a 4-stroke, they come close enough for most weekend riders. Not only that, but they're lighter and tend to be easier to handle, which makes them great for beginners. In addition, 2-stroke bikes require less maintenance than most 4-strokes, saving you time and money.

Because combustion takes place with each revolution of the crankshaft with a 2-stroke, this format puts out more power than a 4-stroke engine and the power has more instantaneous delivery. This are some reasons why 2-stroke engines have a long history of use on many different types of motorcycles.

MXGP3 feels awfully similar to MXGP2, and in spite of the Unreal Engine 4, the game is still lame in it's graphics. Nevertheless, the licensed content is quite impressive and should appeal to the most hardcore fans.

The second round of the 2023 season will be held in Riola Sardo as the MXGP of Sardegna will take place on March the 25th and 26th. In 2023 the venue will be hosting the third MXGP race in its history.

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing will launch into 2023 with Jeffrey Herlings (MXGP, KTM 450SX-F) and Andrea Adamo and Liam Everts (MX2, KTM 250SX-F).
