This week Skechers copied the concept behind for TOMS shoes by launching BOBS (link no longer available). Just like TOMS, when you buy a pair of BOBS, Skechers would donate another pair to a child in need. Even the shoes were the same. And their name had a similar short, familiar feel.

SKECHERS created the BOBS name as an acronym for the charitable mission of the brand: Benefitting Others By Shoes.

In 2010, Skechers copied essentially the entire concept behind TOMS and launched BOBS Shoes by SKECHERS. They are producing similar shoes, with the brand name BOBS (a plural version of a common three letter male name, expressed in all caps).

Bobs is the new unisex shoe collection, available from sizes 35 to 41 by Skechers. The updated version of the classic espadrille (about 39.95 euros) has been created in several designs to ensure the brand positions itself further into the fashion sector.

Skechers USA, Inc. is an American footwear company headquartered in Manhattan Beach, California. Sketchers products are all manufactured in independent factories located overseas. These factories are mostly located in China and Vietnam and, sadly, there are no factories located in the USA.

These shoes work well and don't rub my toes. They don't rub my baby bunions. The foot bed is very soft and the shoe is very comfortable.

They are made out of a canvas fabric and have rubber sole. They slide on easily and comfortably because of the stretchy goring wedge at the top of the shoe. The footbed is made out of memory foam and they have a shock absorbing low profile midsole which is great for those who find themselves on their feet longer.

Bobs shoes are made of canvas and available in many different styles for men, women, and kids. These shoes are available in plain colors and also floral prints to make them alluring for women.

Skechers walking shoes feature technologies such as high-rebound cushioning, arch support, and slip-resistant outsoles. These provide comfort, support, and stability while walking.

"BOBS are the best shoe I've found for flat feet they're the only shoe I wear to work." The canvas shoes are not waterproof, so you wouldn't want to wear them if there's a chance of rain. That said, the budget-friendly price and versatile style makes this pair an option worth considering.

A good walking shoe. For the price I'm not upset with them. I'm a hardcore Skechers fan and they are the only brand running shoe I workout in because of the unparalleled comfort. These BOBS from Skechers are soooo stylish and run a half size small for me than regular Skechers.
