In the tv series, it's theorized that's he's 14-15. Just like the comics, he's supposed to be the youngest member, so it only makes sense for the age range to be 15 and younger. In the most recent adaptation (a live-action version), Beast Boy is 17 with Raven being younger than him by two years.

The Seven's leader can cut Beast Boy in half with his heat vision. On top of that, Homelander is just way too strong. So much so that he could see knockout Beast Boy with a single hit.

Beast Boy has a fairly juvenile sense of humor so the fact that he's vulnerable to groin shots even when he's transformed is pretty hilarious.
