SIG markets the Cross as a long range rifle, and I find that… not entirely true. This is a really good hunting rifle, but a kind of “meh” long range precision rifle. Don't get me wrong, the Cross can shoot. I've made impacts on the clock and off of props out to 950 yards.

Impressive accuracy, indeed. Muzzle velocities were slow out of the 18-inch barrel. Comparing the Cross to 6.5 Creedmoor rifles with 24-inch barrels, I determined that an average of around 250 fps was given up with most loads when used in the Cross's 18-inch barrel.

Included standard are XRAY3 Day/Night sights, a 10-round flush fit magazine, and a 10-round extended magazine. An optional 12-round or 15-round extended magazine allows you to bring the total capacity to 13 or 16 rounds.
