In Warlords of Draenor, Durotan along with his wife Draka, leads their people away from the influence of Grommash's Iron Horde. With the aid of Thrall and heroes of the Horde, Durotan safeguards his people (as well as the Laughing Skull Orcs) and defeats the Iron Horde.

From the super laggy launch (which was actually kind of fun), the dreaded garrisons and the rushed releases of end game content, what could have been a great expansion turned out to be pretty bad. Having released only two content patches during WoD, players were left feeling beyond disappointed.

The game primarily focuses on character progression, in which players earn experience points to level up their character to make them more powerful and buy and sell items using in-game currency to acquire better equipment, among other game systems.

Characters advance by killing other creatures to earn experience. Once enough experience is acquired, the character gains a level, which increases the character's powers. WoW offers a rich class system of characters, allowing gamers to play as druids, priests, rogues, paladins, and other fantasy-related classes.

To get to Draenor, you can pick up the quest The Dark Portal from the Hero's Call Board in Stormwind or the Warchief's Command Board in Orgrimmar. If this quest is not available, travel to the Dark Portal in the Blasted Lands and speak with Khadgar to start the quest.

WoD failed because Blizzard found they couldn't actually speed up their expansion cycle timeline. What players ended up with was an expansion with 2/3 of the content of other expansions… but with the same 2-year release cycle.

Draenor was the homeworld of the orcish race and the last refuge of the draenei before their arrival on Azeroth. When the orc shaman Ner'zhul recklessly opened dimensional portals to find new worlds to conquer, Draenor was torn apart and believed completely lost.

Passion for WoW is positively associated with both types of in-game Social Capital, with Harmonious being the stronger predictor than Obsessive Passion. Harmonious Passion for WoW decreases Loneliness and increases Wellbeing.

Researchers have found that playing WoW boosted cognitive functioning for older adults – particularly those who had scored poorly on cognitive ability tests before playing the game. For some older adults, the online video game World of Warcraft (WoW) may provide more than just an opportunity for escapist adventure.
