The phone supports both fast charging and dual-standard wireless charging. Using the included fast charger, we got the phone from zero to fully charged in around 90 minutes. The Galaxy S7 runs Android 6.0. 1 Marshmallow with Samsung's skin over it, on a 2.15GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.

TechRadar Verdict. There's no beating the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active if your phone routinely takes a beating. Its shatterproof screen and water- and dust-resistant design stand up to the elements, but get ready to pay and sign with AT&T.

Exclusive to AT&T, the S7 Active ($749.99; full retail price) does indeed have a more durable, shatter-resistant build than its predecessor.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 series is an IP68 Rated device. IP68 rating means complete protection from dust ingress, and temporary immersion in up to 1.5 meter of freshwater for up to 30 minutes.

Earlier this month, Consumer Reports said not one, but two Galaxy S7 Active handsets failed its water tests. The phone carries an IP68 rating, which means it is should not sustain damage if it sits in up to five feet of water for up to 30 minutes.

The phone has a rating of IP68, which means that, in the words of this Samsung document describing the S7 and S7 Edge (which shares the same rating), they're "water resistant to a maximum depth of 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) for up to 30 minutes, and are protected from dust, dirt and sand."

This phone is designed to work on select GSM networks and is 4G LTE capable. LTE is an advanced cellular network data protocol capable of data speeds so fast that they compete with wired broadband Internet providers.

The Galaxy Watch Active only has one 40mm size. The Galaxy Watch Active is quite a bit smaller than both Galaxy Watch devices, offering a 1.1-inch display instead of the 1.2 or 1.3-inch displays. It's also a little simpler, offering a basic round look without any flourishes.
