Los Angeles Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) lives in Los Angeles, playing golf with his Special Ops buddies, and providing support to his ex-wife Lenore (Famke Janssen), who is unhappy in her marriage to sweaty Stuart (Dougray Scott) and reaches out to Bryan for comfort and bagels and maybe something more.

The good news is “Taken 3” is better than the last film, but not by a wide margin. The movie spends more time on silly and predictable plot twists than relishing the minor joy of watching this actor kick butt. Liam Neeson nails action like few others.

Bryan then abducts and interrogates Stuart, who confesses his failure to repay a debt to a former business partner and ex-Spetsnaz operative named Oleg Malankov (Sam Spruell), was the reason Lenore was killed and he exposed Bryan's identity to Malankov out of jealousy.

John is a supporting character in the 2008 film Taken and the main antagonist in the 2015 film Taken 3. Stuart was Lennie Mills's ex-husband and the employer of Oleg Malankov, the man who killed Lennie after failing to get back the relationship, and is also Bryan Mills' friend-turned-archenemy.

Season 3 definitely paints Lenore as the evilest sister. She calls herself a “diplomat” but she uses her manipulative mind to bring an already beaten down Hector into complete submission. Worse, she does not do it through power or pain but through love.

Stuart confesses that his former business partner and ex-Russian Spetsnaz operator, Oleg Malankov, murdered Lenore because Stuart owes him money; Stuart exposed Bryan's identity to Malankov out of jealousy.

While this third installment offers a jot more humor (mostly unintentional), the action scenes are disjointed, badly staged and mind-numbing. Lots of chases happen, but none are exciting.
