Virginia Plot. Secret Service agent Mike Banning undergoes training at a private military facility in Virginia owned by Wade Jennings, Banning's friend and the CEO of paramilitary company Salient Global.

Sometime after the terrorist attacks in London, Leah gave birth to Lynne. Her name was in honor of Lynne Jacobs, the Secret Service Director and Mike's boss who was killed in crash of Marine One during the attacks in London. Two weeks after the attacks, Mike and Leah spent some time with Lynne in her nursery.

The series includes the films Olympus Has Fallen (2013), London Has Fallen (2016), and Angel Has Fallen (2019). The films also star Aaron Eckhart as U.S. President Benjamin Asher, and Morgan Freeman as the Speaker of the House (and eventual President) Allan Trumbull.

The Loss of Innocence The title of the novel Fallen Angels immediately emphasizes the theme of youth and innocence. As Lieutenant Carroll explains in Chapter 4, all soldiers are “angel warriors,” because the soldiers are still young boys and still as innocent as angels.

Wong Kar-Wai's Fallen Angels is unusual in its portrayal of love, in that it maintains a theme of heartbreak and negativity. No character's dream of love is ever fulfilled, but throughout the film, each one learns something about themselves, or another person, in getting past their brushes with unrealistic infatuation.

Second Temple period. The concept of fallen angels derives mostly from works dated to the Second Temple period between 530 BC and 70 AD: in the Book of Enoch, the Book of Jubilees and the Qumran Book of Giants; and perhaps in Genesis 6:1–4.

Fallen Angels takes place in Vietnam, a theater of war in which Myers never served since he was in the army too early. The Vietnam War lasted from 1959 to 1973 . The United States reached its highest level of involvement in the war in approximately 1967, the year in which Fallen Angels is set.

Darla becomes pregnant, a unique occurrence for a vampire. She sacrifices herself in order to give birth to her and Angel's human son Connor, ending her run on the series.

Connor Connor is the superhuman son of the title character Angel, who is a vampire.
