Original Capri-Sun has always been made from fruit juice and water with nothing artificial. We have now reduced the sugar content by 50% thanks to the introduction of a natural plant-based sweetener known as stevia.

Capri Sun pouches are made by bonding layers of aluminum and plastic together, making them very difficult to recycle. Only 2% are estimated to be collected nationwide for recycling (primarily through TerraCycle, which repurposes hard-to-recycle packages and products into items like tote bags and laptop cases).

Researchers say some of the best selling fruit drinks for kids are really unhealthy. Capri-Sun and Kool-Aid are among 30 drinks that contain less than 5 percent juice, a whole lot of sugar and are considered bad for your kids.
