The ingenious flavor combination in each of these treats can be traced back to 1928, when H.B. Reese, an employee of The Hershey Company, created REESE'S Peanut Butter Cups in his basement. The Hershey Company supplied Reese with the chocolate coating for his candy and eventually purchased his business in 1963.

We doubled down on this new attitude, partnering with Will Arnett as our voice of the brand. An unapologetic, persuasive, devil-on-your-shoulder not-so-subtly pushing you to stop doing whatever you're doing and go get a Reese's. And to make it even harder to resist, we used real products across all our communications.

Good & Plenty is believed to be the oldest candy brand in the USA. The pink-and-white capsule-shaped chewy licorice was first produced in 1893 in Philadelphia. It's still found at concession stands everywhere, which makes Good & Plenty a treat that can be enjoyed by candy lovers of all ages.

The famous slogan "Two great tastes that taste great together" originated in a marketing campaign for this candy in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

They would then sample the mixture and remark on the great taste, tying in with the slogan "Two great tastes that taste great together." In the 1990s, the product's slogan was: "There's no wrong way to eat a Reese's."
