Raphael, nicknamed Raph, is a superhero and one of the four main characters of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics and all related media. In most iterations, he's depicted as the most aggressive of the turtle brothers, physically the strongest, and often at odds with his brother, Leonardo.

Leonardo Leonardo is the eldest brother, and leader of the group, quiet and the most serious of the four.

Since Raph had to look out for himself during his formative years, he usually goes off by himself whenever he's stressed, overwhelmed, or has a problem he needs to solve. This also explains his short temper, and his near-constant internal rage.

Generally speaking, Raph is one tough turtle - but he's got a soft spot in his shell for his beloved bros. Raph may be the best fighter of the bunch. He's got some serious ninja skills, but doesn't have a whole lot of stealth going on.

Donatello Donatello, nicknamed Don or Donnie/Donny, is a superhero and one of the four main characters of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics and all related media. He is the smartest and often gentlest of his brothers, wearing a purple mask over his eyes.

Venus That honor goes to Venus, TV's first (and still only) female Ninja Turtle. Unlike her male counterparts - Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo, all of whom were named after noteworthy Renaissance artists - Venus got her name from the famously arm-less Greek statue depicting the goddess Aphrodite.

The turtles were each named after a legendary artist – and, of course, all male. Though there were other mutants in the TMNT universe – including the female Mona Lisa, a mutant lizard – the only other turtle for the franchise's first decade or so was the villainous Slash, also male.
