Get crafty with Yoshi in a handicraft world As Yoshi, you'll leap up high, gulp down enemies, and set out on a treasure hunt to find all the different collectables. On the flip side, stages can be played backwards, providing new perspectives to explore and new ways to locate some of the more craftily hidden items!

Yoshi's Crafted World is a nice idea and an interesting art style. It's a classic jump and run game, altough it's not very innovative. I would say it's a good starter game for kids.

Latest Critic Reviews It's easy, but it's fun. There's a pervading feeling of trying to keep yourself busy (almost like a cat playing with a mouse) than being kept on your toes by your foes.In the end, Yoshi's Story is good for a rental at best.

Like in super mario kart, though the top speed for mario was higher, Yoshi's acceleration was faster. In the other sports games, Yoshi always has higher speed than Mario. In TTYD, your Yoshi acts like a method of faster travel on foot.

Yoshi seemed to do nothing wrong; he showed up, ate some bad guys for you, and stayed loyal to the player unless he got scared by an enemy. That being said, there's a dark side to everything these days, and Yoshi's story is no exception (pun-intended).

It's much more in line with Yoshi's Wooly World than with the old games but it's still Yoshi. I also recommend this game for young kids, though maybe secretly play through the ghost world for them if they're sensitive to scary stuff.

Yoshi's Crafted World isn't as innovative or challenging as Nintendo's very best side-scrolling adventures, but it's not meant to be. It's simply a lushly detailed, smartly designed, and superbly executed run and jump adventure for players of all ages.
