This movie Is SO good. It is the best out of all the new three Star Trek movies. In the other two, the action is just a bunch of space ships shooting each other.

Instead the movie focuses on the relationship between Kirk, Spock and Khan. The movie will entertain and satisfy its target audience, and Star Trek fans won't be disappointed. But the movie is best suited to children over 15 years because of its violence, scary scenes and coarse language.

Star Trek Into Darkness is a 2013 American science fiction action film directed by J. J. Abrams and written by Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman, and Damon Lindelof. It is the 12th installment in the Star Trek franchise and the sequel to the 2009 film Star Trek, as the second in a rebooted film series.

It promotes a naturalistic worldview, dedicated to using reason, science, and logic in understanding the universe, solving problems, and improving the human (and alien) condition. I have previously blogged about the link between ethics and different franchises of Star Trek.

"Star Trek into Darkness" is a great sci-fi with a good story of Kirk and his crew and a powerful villain. The good acting and direction associated to top-notch special effects make a highly entertaining movie.

Star Trek stories are humanistic; they are founded in Gene Roddenberry's belief in the perfectible human. They provide an optimistic vision of our future. Star Trek tells us that no matter how crazy the world may look today, it will get better. We will get better.

Star Trek is rated PG-13 by the MPAA for sci-fi action and violence, and brief sexual content. Dealing with Romulan rebels is never pretty. Many scenes in this film depict conflict sequences on both a wide scale (spaceships shooting each other) and a personal level.

age 18 Dark is Dark Not for viewers under the age 18. It is rated MA, so yes the audience should be mature, ie. have some serious life experience, before digesting this Dark series.

Star Trek is as great as it is because it taps in to a righteous view of a future in which everyone belongs; where infinite diversity is found in infinite combination and celebrated on it's own merits rather than hammered in to shape to fit the conventions of one cultural group or another.
