The Honda EU2200i generator comes equipped with a commercial-grade Honda GXR120 121cc engine. This generator features 2200 watts and 120 volts perfect for overnight use and such things as the fridge, TV/DVD, computer, microwave, etc. Honda's engine is super quiet making it ideal for camping.

Buying Options. If the Honda EU2200i is priced too high or you place a premium on user-friendly features, we also like the Ryobi RYi2322VNM Bluetooth inverter generator. Its engine is smaller than that of the Honda, so it's not as robust, but in our tests it performed as well as any of the other non-Honda generators.

You should not run your generator in the rain or other inclement weather because electricity and water can create electrical shocks. To keep the power running, you should instead use a temporary wet weather cover or build a permanent cover for your generator.
