The Looney Tunes title was inspired by that of Walt Disney's Silly Symphonies. The shorts initially showcased musical compositions owned by Warner's music publishing interests through the adventures of such characters as Bosko and Buddy.

Looney Tunes, animated short films produced by the Warner Brothers studios beginning in 1930. Spurred by the success of Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse cartoons, Warner Brothers contracted with Leon Schlesinger to produce an animated short that incorporated music from the studio's extensive recording library.

Any show would be lucky to have even one of these characters in their series, but if one show had all of these wacky and zany characters, then it might stand to reason that it's one of the best shows of all time. I'm glad to say that one show DOES have all these characters, and it is “Looney Tunes.”

UA owned the distribution rights to the Associated Artists Productions library at that time, and decided to pull these 11 cartoons from broadcast because the use of ethnic stereotypes in the cartoons, specifically African stereotypes, was deemed too offensive for contemporary audiences.

It's up to Bugs (and you the player, of course) to fight through Marvin and his army of clones of the other toons to restore order to the world. The game is an RPG where the player can journey through the various campaigns the game offers or against other players with numerous familiar Looney Tunes characters.

Looney Tunes is an American animated cartoon franchise produced and distributed by Warner Bros. It began as a series of short films that originally ran from 1930 to 1969, concurrently with its partner series Merrie Melodies, during the golden age of American animation.
