History. On April 30, 2019, Major League Baseball and YouTube agreed to a partnership for 13 exclusive baseball games. The agreement was essentially a replacement to an earlier deal with Facebook Watch, which was criticized for requiring a Facebook account to access and for having too clunky of an interface.

Does MLB.TV include MLB Network? No, MLB.TV doesn't include live access to MLB Network. While the streaming service hosts on-demand content that originated from MLB Network, you'll need a separate TV provider login to access MLB Network through MLB.com or the MLB app.

MLB Network and YouTube TV were unable to reach an agreement on a contract renewal, meaning that YouTube TV will no longer carry the channel, according to an email that was sent to YouTube TV subscribers Tuesday.

Baseball league's cable TV channel no longer available on Google-owned streaming platform. Major League Baseball (MLB) has confirmed that its 24-hour cable TV channel MLB Network has been dropped by Google-owned YouTube TV, after discussions broke down over a renewed carriage agreement.

If you're an MLB fan, make sure to use YouTube TV once every 30 days in your home area. Checking in will help to avoid sports game-related viewing restrictions. If you move out of the home area you signed up in, you'll need to update your location in YouTube TV.

At Bat subscribers will be able to watch live video of Minor League games in the First Pitch app and the MLB apps -- the same as MLB.TV subscribers.
