We would like to let you know with a unit that is a Powered Lift-away it allows you to use the floor nozzle attached to the wand while in the lift-away mode. With a unit that is just a lift-way you would not be able to use the floor nozzle attached to the wand.

What should I do if my vacuum is hard to push or pull on certain carpets or area rugs? Make sure you are using setting II, Carpet. Adjusting the amount of suction power will help with push and pull. Rotate the suction control collar on the handle counterclockwise toward MIN to reduce suction for more maneuverability.

Please remember to change your foam/felt filter every 3 months and your HEPA filter every 6 months, otherwise your vacuum will lose suction and won't clean efficiently!
