When you're ready, here's how to set it up:

1. Plug one end of the video cable into the port on the external screen. Make sure that your TV, monitor, or projector is turned on.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to the video adapter.
3. Connect the adapter to your Surface.

Yes, you can use a 65W charger instead of a 44W charger for your Surface laptop. The laptop will only draw as much power as it needs due to its built-in power management system, so using a higher-wattage charger will not damage your laptop. In fact, it may actually charge your laptop faster given the higher wattage.

According to Wikipedia, the Surface Pro 3 is capable of outputting 4K @ 60Hz if you're using the i5 or i7 version (I have the i5 version).

500W means it will supply 500 joules per second of energy continuously.

If you have installed just two 180 Watt solar panels at your residence, you can comfortably run your household appliances like bulbs, fans, TV, refrigerator, washing machine etc. during day time, completely independent of the power from the grid.

Though it's shy of 4K resolution (3,840 by 2,160 pixels), the Surface Laptop 3's display density of 201 pixels per inch makes text and graphics appear razor-sharp, and offers much more detail than 1080p does.

Apple favours a slower processor, but a faster PCI-e SSD and Intel's faster HD 5000 graphics. It's a trade-off that makes the MacBook very snappy, but the Surface Pro 3 is no slouch either. That faster processor gives it an edge in processor intensive tasks, too.

Simply provide power to the Surface Connect dock, plug your dock into your Surface with Surface Connnect port, and then plug the HDMI or USB-C cables into the dock, and into the monitor.

On your computer

1. Turn on the computer's Wi-Fi setting.
2. Click the Start button.
3. In the Start Menu, scroll to and click Settings.
4. Depending on the operating system:
