Uqora was created by a chronic UTI sufferer (Jenna Ryan) and her biochemist husband (Spencer Gordon) who were both fed up with the tiring cycle of UTIs.

Ryan knew that to solve the problem she would have to take matters into her own hands. Why is Uqora not FDA approved? As a dietary supplement, Uqora products fall into a regulatory gray area. So while the product is not technically approved by the Food and Drug Administration, the FDA does classify the supplement's ingredients as GRAS, or “generally recognized as safe.”
