Activation of the Reveal X Gen 2 is conducted through the app as with all Reveal cams, and gives you the option to choose which carrier the camera will use. During the activation, you will choose which included SIM card to use, and then activate the camera accordingly.

Day and night, it consistently provides high-quality photos without motion blur, regardless of weather conditions. I've run a few different cell camera brands over the years, and no one takes care of their customers like Tactacam does.

Your cell phone plan is not needed and will not be affected by the Tactacam REVEAL camera. Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, Straight Talk, etc. Your cell phone plan is not needed and will not be affected by the Tactacam REVEAL camera.

You can use the REVEAL cameras as regular trail cams without a data plan. You will NOT want to activate them in your app because that will automatically add them to your current subscription. Just insert the SD card and turn the camera on and it will take pictures and save them to the SD card.

In order for your Micro SD Card to be compatible, you need to ensure that it is either a 32 GB or 64 GB SD card. The max/min amount of GB's your camera can handle will depend on the model you are using. Ensure that your card is at minimum a class 10 or 4K card.

A couple other things to consider when it comes to SD cards. One. We do not recommend swapping cards between cameras. Second when your SD card has been in use over time.

You need a Ultra 3 microSD card, at least 64GB for the Tactacam Solo, 3.0 and 4.0. Tactacam 3.0 and 4.0 will take up to a 64GB card. 5.0 will take up to 128GB. Your SD card is the heart of your camera, you can't purchase a $430 camera and put a $6 SD card in it.
