It is open for breakfast and dinner daily. Oceanview Cafe (Deck 14): Oceanview Cafe is a multi-station buffet for breakfast and lunch, and an open-seating casual alternative venue for dinner.

Solstice is the first of the series, with its inaugural sailing in November 2008.

Celebrity Solstice broke new ground when it debuted in 2008, and while several sister ships have undergone what the line calls "Revolutionized" status, this vessel has not. That means that it lacks some areas and amenities that are now standard on the line.

Last refreshed in early 2023 (and first launched in 2008), the 2,852-passenger Celebrity Solstice offers a sushi restaurant and the Retreat Lounge. Daytime activities range from spa treatments to golf putting to art classes. Young passengers ages 3 to 17 can also participate in Camp at Sea activities.

The food on Celebrity Solstice is generally good, with an occasional great if you've chosen a meal in one of the ship's specialty restaurants.

Classic Drinks Package includes: all carbonated drinks, bottled water, juices, premium coffees and teas, beer, spirits, cocktails and wines by the glass up to $9 per serving. Bottles of wine are not included.

Ice Cream. A deliciously sweet scoop of ice cream is an essential part of any vacation - on land or at sea. On Celebrity Cruises, this refreshing snack is available for free at the Oceanview Cafe. Select a cone, your favorite flavor, a colorful topping, and grab a seat on the sundeck to savor your delicious scoop.

Celebrity Cruises Alcohol Policy Guests are not permitted to bring alcoholic beverages onboard; with the exception of embarkation day when each guest (of legal drinking age) is permitted to bring onboard up to two (2) bottles of wine (which are subject to a corkage fee) per guest.
