It depends. Things like sickness, teething, regressions, and room environment can all impact your baby's ability to nap. But, the number one factor in helping your baby nap well is sleep pressure. Your baby needs the right amount – not too much or too little– of sleep pressure to fall asleep and stay asleep.

I recommend a sleeping bag for children under the age of two years. A pillow is not recommended at this age, and if you do, it should be very thin. For stomach sleepers, a pillow should definitely be avoided. For children under one year of age, pillows can even pose a risk of sudden infant death syndrome.

A regular sleeping bag is perfectly suitable for children aged 6 and above. Shorter length sleeping bags are recommended for children over 3 years of age. It is not recommended children below 3 years sleep in sleeping bags. We do not recommend young children sleep in adult sized sleeping bags.

Literally the best thing ever. My 2-year old daughter begged for a Happy Napper and was excited to get one for Christmas. Hard to tell with kids what they will keep using and there are lots of stuff we wasted money on. 18 months later- she is still in love with Happy Napper.

The shoulder hold is another natural hold for a baby. Lean your baby up on a shoulder and with the arm of the same side, wrap it around his bottom. Use the other arm to hold against his back and/or to support his neck. Babies sleep well in this position, too.
