To increase the effectiveness of the product, I make sure my underarms are completely dry before applying. I find that this helps the formula really hit all my sweat glands and limit the chances of irritation. To sum it up, this product is effective at blocking underarm sweat, but be aware of the potential side effects. It may permanently block your underarm sweat glands while redirecting sweat to other areas. Consider whether sweating more from your face and torso is preferable for you.

Secondly, any dampness amplifies the burn! As such, make sure your underarms are completely dry before application. If you have just showered, wait until completely dry before application. You can even use a fan (or hair dryer on cool setting) to make sure your armpits are dry.
